Ulysses song, "We Need Power" was selected as the bed music for the nationally syndicated radio feature POWER MINUTE, heard daily on over 80 radio stations throughtout the U.S. The media has begun to embrace Ulysses. He has been interviewed and feature on the nationally syndicated radio program, Inspirations Across America; hosted by Mike Roberts. The show is aired on over 100 radio stations. Ulysses was the first gospel artist in Richmond, Virginia to receive the highly coveted Medallion Award and named "Richmond Virginia Man of Music" awarded by the Mayor "Henry L. Marsh 111".
Ulysses has his own ministry Solid Foundation Ministry based in Atlanta, GA and regularly minister in outreach and prison ministry. June 2011, Ulysses was honored with an, honorary Doctorate of Scared Music; for his music and community service in Richmond, VA; from Higher Learning Bible institute International Seminary, Richmond, VA.
